The Michael Pozzan Chardonnay focuses on bright fresh fruit instead of oak and butter.  With a combination of both new and used French oak and  only a touch of malolactic fermentation, the wine is allowed to show the true flavors and aromas of the varietal.

Sonoma undoubtedly produces the best Chardonnay grapes in California. The cool sea breezes are advantageous in creating the right climate to for the refreshing and easy drinking wine. The limited oak has kept this wine a pure expression of a Sonoma County Chardonnay.

Merlot is one the great noble French varietals and is often made like Cabernet Sauvingon here in Napa.  This Merlot has firm tannins that is reminiscent of the Napa style, but still soft enough to allow the fruit to show its character.
